Jonathan was born in Wales, and discovered his psychic abilities so long ago he can’t remember exactly how it all started. He has been a professional astrologer, Tarot card Reader and clairvoyant since the 1970s, and has worked all over the UK as well as in the USA.
Besides his natural psychic abilities, Jonathan is also well recognised as a serious historian and mythologist. As it happens, Jon is a direct descendant of the Royal Astrologer and mathematician to Queen Elizabeth I, Dr John Dee of old. We don’t know if our Jon is as acquainted with magic as his ancestry may hint, but we are very nice to him just in case...

His career includes a regular astrology spot on BBC Radio Wales, a Chinese astrology spot with Mike Allen on National Talk Radio, a series in his own right on BBC TV Wales (DigiKnow?), and he has been published in various magazines and newspapers.

Jonathan has written a vast number of books, covering Egyptology, Mythology, Astrology, the Tarot and History. Published internationally, his books have sold over 5 million copies to date. He has also had published six annual series of Astro-guides together with Sasha Fenton, and the two of them collaborate on many of each other’s books - they have had a very close relationship (not that way!) for many years, and are a formidable team with a vast amount of MB&S knowledge and experience between them.

With his degree in art, Jon is also a very welcome source of inspiration and illustrations in many of our books. His recent book “Tarot Mysteries” and Sasha’s “Fortune Telling by Tarot Cards” are both heavily illustrated, using Jon’s own striking set of traditional Tarot card illustrations.

Jonathan’s hobbies include researching anything of a historical nature, science fiction and gardening as a means of relaxation.
